Me again.Since this is a audio/visuel assignment - let's meet the activist in his "natural envirionment". In a demonstration, somewhere, where he thinks somethings needs to be done, somewhere he feels he has made an impact or maybe at home, if it has something special to it. this is the number of the green family (name: Corine, Tel.: 94832196). According to Michelle, they're french expatriates who have been living in hk for quite some time, and they would welcome us to film/take pics of them at their home to see how they incorporate the green idea into their daily life. i talked a bit with michelle yesterday, and we thought it might be useful for us to interview some local green activists like Ho Loy who was one of the candidates of the Legco by-election lat year. we can ask them how practical they think it is to live a truly "green" life in hk. yes, we can contact greenpeace to see if they have any othe activists willing to be interviewed. and if some of the these activists happen to be staging a demonstration before our project is due, we can interview them right at the scene Do you find this valuable? |

hey pals,i have more information about the green family. the french lady and her chinese husband are both green people who try their best in conserving the environment. they are not activists, but they do many tiny little things at home, such as: - avoid flushing the toilet bowl until they think it smells - instead of having the water tap kept running, they would fill the basin with water, use it to wash the vegetables, then save it later to wash the dishes - they bring their own bags to markets - they dont have any air-conditioners installed at home - if they see any usable furniture or wood pieces, they bring it home and hammer it into a bed/cabinet themselves my friend who gave me her contact said we can give her a call directly. so i'll ring her up tomorrow. as for Ho Loy, i have already gotten her mobile contact. i'll give her a ring and see if she is willing to have an interivew with us. michelle Do you find this valuable? |
