Have set a new page up so that we can decide on the:
1) Plan
2) Schedule
3) Division of Labor
once we have confirmed the focus on the story on organic farms.

Starting tomorrow, we have basically got 4 weeks before the soundslide project is due on the 7th April (Monday).

I think that we will need at least one week (preferably to gather and complete it on a Saturday or Sunday) to edit the sound and photographs. This means that all photo taking/ sound recording has to be finished by the 30th March (latest). As such, we have to go either this coming week (15th or 16th) or next week (29th or 30th) to the organic farm. I am in touch with Christina Cheung (family) and will arrange with her if you guys can let me know which days you're available. I prefer this coming week just to get it out of the way so if anything goes wrong, we still have the following week to redo it.

Thanks.

I've called Christina Cheung just now to arrange for Sunday as she previously said she wouldnt mind us following her around at the farm. Now her attitude's changed somewhat and I'm guessing her husband's not too enthusiastic about it. She's asked me what our module is about and I've pointed her to the JMSC and New Media class blog and she'll give me a call tonight. Failing that I'll just have to try get somewhat for this week at the farm- I just hope this will be alright though but just thought I'd let you guys know at this time.

Maybe we should also think about questions for Christina Cheung. Are we going to focus on her own experience or the education on her children? How organic food has changed her conception about Hong Kong's environment? or things more specific. What kind of organic vegetable she likes best? Can she afford to buy organic food everyday? Will she recommend this way of living to her friends? Do you find this valuable?

Sorry about the late info- my computer's been busted so I can't go online unless I'm at school.

The website for the farm, http://farm.yewchung.net/farminfo.html

The address is:
Yew Chung Educational Farm locate in Man Uk Bin Village,
Sha Tau Kok Road,
Fanling,
New Territories.

I've arranged to meet with Christina Cheung at 12:30pm outside the entrance of the farm tomorrow. We'll start from there. i suggest we meet at the nearest train station and either take a mini van or a taxi to get there.

I can't check the questions if you post anything on Wiki (my computer needs fixing) but maybe we can meet slightly earlier and have breakfast to go through questions that we will ask her together? Just call me directly then: 6186 8626.
Cheers

Oh.... there are maps on the website- so I'm going to print them out later at the media lab and then bring them tomorrow to show the driver or ask people if we aren't sure how to get there. I think the nearest train station would be Fanling- 3rd last station from Lo Wu on the old KCR line.

We can meet at 10am for breakfast around the station- then talk about it- then head to the farm at about 11:45 am, take a few pics of the area before they arrive.
Thnx
