Sorry it is in Chinese. But I think there is at least one Chinese student in each group, so I hope it won't be quite a problem.

ORGANIC FARM PROJECT
Green School-a website that introduces green activities in Hong Kong schools

AFCD Organic Farming-this is an official introduction of the history of organic farming in Hong Kong. There are many useful links included.

Organic Dinner - The Hong Kong Organic Farming Association will hold an organic dinner on 3 APril 2008. WIth an entrance fee of $120, you will be able to have a totally organic meal and vote for your favourite organic food.

Organic Certification - introduces the local certification system for organic produce. Do have a look if you don't want to fall into the fake organic trap.

South China Morning Post 05/05/2007 article
(link from a yahoo site as the SCMP archives requires you to pay) Article is on a survey from the Hong Kong Organic Resources Center regarding how organic food labels can be confusing. Highlights that most organic foods are imported from overseas and when there is no universal standard for the certification of what is organic, it "confuse rather than inform customers".

ThreeSixty - website of a new supermarket selling natural foods and organic products. They've got a store at the Landmark in Central and the Elements mall in Kowloon. This page shows some of their brands, illustrating how a lot of organic products are imported from overseas.

Hong Kong Organic Resources Center- established in late 2002. Quoted from website: "It is the first local certification body of organic products set up under the Agricultural Development Fund to facilitate the development of organic farming." It also contains information for consumers and students, holds regular training sessions for people in the business- all with the aim or promoting organic products in HK.

Hong Kong Organic Farming Association -A non-profit making organization established in 1999. It aims at promoting local organic movement.

Produce Green Foundation - The foundation set up the first organic farm in Hong Kong in 1988.

RECYCLING OF USED CLOTHING
The Salvation Army in Hong Kong accepts donations of both new and used clothes and distributes it to the needy in Hong Kong and abroad.

The Home Affairs Department organises a clothing recycling campaign as well.


NGOs
The Conservancy Association - NGO, with longest history in Hong Kong, dedicated to the protection of the environment and the conservation of natural and cultural heritage.

Green Power - NGO, with 20 years in Hong Kong, focus on environmental education
